The Governor General of Papua New Guinea, Sir Bob Dadae, signed employment contracts today for six heads of public agencies at Government House, Port Moresby today.
The signing of employment contract was witnessed by Mr. Vele Ravugamini, Deputy Secretary for Executive Resourcing Services, Department of Personnel Management.
The following officials signed their contracts:
- Mr. Eric Uvovo – Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Promotion Authority
- Mr. Gibson Holemba – Secretary, Department of Works and Highways
- Mr. Wellington Navasivu – Chief Migration Officer, Immigration and Citizenship Services Authority
- Mr. Joe Sapa – Chief Executive Officer, National Procurement Commission
- Mr. Steven Matainaho – Secretary, Department of Information and Communications Technology
- Mr. Mame Kasalau MBE – Provincial Administrator, Manus Province
These appointments ensure strong leadership in important government agencies and continuation of operations. Each head of agency is tasked for a 4-year term to guide the improvement of services and drive development in their respective sectors.
